I showed these to Jana - she was really impressed. Great photography and subject :-)
I kinda fell for him too, Indigo.Crystal - thanks, and to Jana. They can barely move on a cool morning, so he made an easy photography subject.
Don't you love that spot (in the last closeup)? Iridescence fascinates me. I'm not even sure I can spell it. :-)
I agree. There are some tiny iridescent green flies and beetles around here, but they won't stay still long enough for me to take pictures.
When I was seriously into rug hooking I read an article on creating iridescence. It had to do with the interplay of colors. I didn't try it, because I had no desire for an iridescent rug.
